Cosmas Genga
Cosmas Genga is the Co-Founder of Gem Smiles Foundation. As a dedicated dental-surgery student and passionate oral-health advocate, he helped launch the foundation to bring free dental care, preventive dentistry education, and community outreach to underserved populations across Kenya. Through his leadership and commitment, Cosmas works to ensure that quality oral health services — often inaccessible to many — become available to all, helping communities regain confidence, dignity, and healthier smiles.
Laureen Tarus
Laureen Tarus is the Secretary of Gem Smiles Foundation and an aspiring dentist passionate about improving community oral health. In her role, she manages communications, records, and program coordination, helping the foundation run effective outreach initiatives. Laureen is committed to advancing preventive care and education, with the goal of contributing to a healthier, more confident generation through dentistry.
Joseph Malusi
Joseph Malusi serves as the Projects and Outreach Coordinator at Gem Smiles Foundation. A dedicated MBChB student, he brings a strong passion for community health and service to the foundation’s outreach initiatives. Joseph plays a key role in planning, coordinating, and implementing community programs, ensuring that outreach activities are impactful, well-organized, and responsive to community needs. Boniface Muendo serves as the Operations Manager of Gem Smiles Foundation, bringing strategic oversight and structured leadership to the foundation’s community oral health initiatives. He is responsible for coordinating programs, streamlining operations, and ensuring the effective implementation of medical and dental camps, school outreaches, and oral health awareness activities.
